My journey as a photographer began over a decade ago, capturing the energy of concerts and musicians. During my studies I went on to specialise in branding and marketings, and my graduation project with online fashion retailer Attitude Holland launched me into the world of (alternative) fashion.

Over the years, I’ve gained a wide range of experience, from starting my own cruelty-free beauty webshop and working in retail to doing marketing for a Google Cloud consultancy. I’ve always loved combining creativity and technology. These diverse roles, particularly my recent years in digital marketing, have given me a deep understanding of different tools and best practices.

In June 2025, I moved back to Enschede, my hometown, with my partner and two dogs. While I enjoyed these past roles, I realised I missed having the camera in my hands. The skills I’ve gained (from marketing and visual merchandising to event organisation and business development) are incredibly valuable and help me create commercially strong images. This diverse skill set, along with my return to my roots, gave me the push I needed to start my freelance photography business in September.

For me, marketing and photography are inseparable, good photos make your brand stand out but also let you connect with your audience. This is why I focus on genuine moments, in this era where AI is taking center stage real human connection is getting more and more important. We want true moments and not staged perfection… if that is what you are looking for then I am the photographer for you!
